SEASON 5 FINALE: "Company Picninc"

Here is a synopsis of the latest episode of the Office (100th and the Season 5 Finale) entitled "Company Picnic":

Dunder Mifflin is holding its annual Company Picnic, and Michael hopes to reunite with Holly since the two are doing a sketch about the history of Dunder Mifflin together. He intends to find the right moment to tell her that he loves her. Unfortunately, she arrives with her boyfriend, and Michael discovers the two are building a house for themselves. Can Michael get up the courage to tell Holly and create a hilarious sketch? As always when it comes to Michael, things end up upside down.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Scranton branch is intent on crushing Corporate, but their best player, Pam, ends up injuring her ankle. Though she claims she is perfectly alright, Corporate (mostly Charles Wallace) insists she visit the hospital so she can't play. As Jim takes Pam to the hospital, Jim and Dwight hastily make a plan - Dwight will try to stall until Pam comes back.

This is a must-see episode, so if you missed it, make sure you check it out on Hulu.com or Nbc.com. Plus, check out the surprise ending. (Hint: It has to do with Jim and Pam)

"Cafe Disco" Season 5; Episode 25

Here is the synopsis of the latest episode of "The Office" entitled "Cafe Disco":

Michael finds himself constantly going down to the old space where Michael Scott's Paper Company used to be to dance to some disco. After he turns it into "Cafe Disco" he tries to get everyone in the office to come on down and dance. Finally, Phyllis comes to dance - and pulls a muscle in her back. As Dwight works on nursing Phyllis back to dancing shape, Cafe Disco gains popularity.

Meanwhile, Jim and Pam have arranged last minute plans to get married that day. Their plans are to drive to Oregon and get married in a few minutes. But in the end, they realize they want to get married the right way.

My Rendition of "The Office"

Here is my rendition of "The Office". I just did this after school one day with some friends. It may not be good, but it was a ton of fun making it, so please don't judge.

"Casual Friday" Season 5; Episode 24

Here is a synopsis of the latest episode of "The Office" entitled "Casual Friday":

The employees at Dunder Mifflin are not too happy about Michael's return the company, especially because Michael refuses to return their stolen things. Dwight tries to gather a mob-like group and make sure the salesmen are being 'treated fairly'. Meanwhile Creed challenges Jim to a series of board games. As if things weren't bad enough, tensions rise about inapropriate dress at 'Casual Friday', and Toby is stuck in the middle.

"Broke" Season 5; Episode 23

Here is a synopsis of the latest episode of "The Office" entitled "Broke":

The Michael Scott Paper Company is not doing well; mainly because Michael keeps lowering the prices. Sales are up but the prices are so low they can't turn a profit. Meanwhile, Dunder Mifflin is suffering after all their customers turn to MSPC, but they have no idea of their current financial state. So, Dunder Mifflin decides to try to buy out Michael's new company. Though they propose a stunning $60,000 for the business, Michael surprisingly turns it down, demanding that he and his employees recieve their jobs back instead of the money. In a quick turn of events, Michael, Pam, and Ryan are back at Dunder Mifflin, as if it were Season 1 again.

"Heavy Competition" Season 5; Episode 22

Here is a synopsis of the latest episode of "The Office" entitled "Heavy Competition":

Dwight keeps sneaking Michael information about Dunder Mifflin's clients, but when Charles begins to respect Dwight, he turns on Michael - and stabs him right in the back by busting him with Charles. And so begins a war between the two companies - or just between Michael and Dwight. The two compete against each other by sabotaging the other's office and stealing their clients. Will these two once good friends turn away from each other for good, and become mortal enemies?

Meanwhile, Andy tries to help out Jim on how to deal with the ladies; but little does he know, Jim does not care at all for his advice.

"The Michael Scott Paper Company" Season 5; Episode 21

Here is a brief synopsis of the latest episode of "The Office" entitled "The Michael Scott Paper Company":

Tensions rise as the cramped new office space becomes an annoyance to everyone at The Michael Scott Paper Company. There is part of a shower on the wall, and in the corner there are pipes from the toilets of Dunder Mifflin. Michael is still excited about his Pancake Luncheon. Pam becomes desperate and goes upstairs to beg Charles back for her job - but its already taken. And as you can expect, the luncheon doesn't have the best turnout.

Meanwhile, Charles asks Jim to make a "rundown" of his clients, but Jim has no idea what a "rundown" is. Andy and Dwight become friends and decide to go hunting after work. The new receptionist, Kelly, gets between them, however, as they try to woo her with their charm.

"Dream Team" Season 5; Episode 20

Here is a brief synopsis of the latest episode of "The Office" entitled "Dream Team":

Michael and Pam are on a mission to find the best team of employees they can find - a 'Dream Team'. They search Scranton high and low but to little avail - the best they can get is Ryan, who they found working at a local bowling alley. Even Michael's grandmother turns him down. With one new employee, they now have to find an office space. Of course, Michael looks to the same building the Dunder Mifflin Scranton branch resides in, and he lucks out by getting a space - or not. Their new headquarters is literally in a closet.

Meanwhile, Andy, knowing that Charles Minor loves soccer, tells him that he is a huge soccer fan. Everyone follows suit, attempting to impress their new boss. Even Jim 'admits' that he loves to play; but Dwight is on to him, and he suggests that they have an office soccer game after work, in order to embarrass Jim.

"Two Weeks" Season 5; Epsiode 19

Here is a brief synopsis of the latest episode of "The Office" entitled "Two Weeks":

It's official - Michael is leaving Dunder Mifflin. He has emailed everyone his two week notice about it, but it is clear that he is beginning to regret the decision. He is walking around the office drinking scotch and annoying just about everyone. He obviously didn't think everything through before he quit. He starts to go around asking numerous employees if they want

to be in on his new paper company with a very original name: Michael Scott's Paper Company. All of them turn him down, and when Charles Minor hears about his plans, he orders that Michael leave the office immediately without taking anything with him. Finally, Michael leaves, only to return to try to sneak some client information. Charles catches him, however, and it is evident Michael is pushing his buttons. After he threatens to beat Michael up, Michael leaves - for good. However, he managed to gain one surprising follower: Pam. The two leave the office in one of, if not, the most shocking episodes of "The Office" ever to air.

"New Boss" Season 5; Episode 18

Here is the synopsis for the latest episode of "The Office" entitled "New Boss":

Michael is all set for his 15th anniversary at Dunder Mifflin until his brand new boss, Charles Minor, shows up, everything starts to 

go downhill. Jim starts out on the wrong foot after Charles sees him in a tux (another prank on Dwight) and Michael feels a bit outspoken. Charles seems to be overpowering him at every turn, and Michael feels he deserves more - so much so that he drives all the way to New York to see David. Be sure to check out the surprise ending that will leave you shell-shocked.

Character Bio: Dwight Schrute

Here is a mini character bio on the only man I know of that owns a beet farm, Dwight Schrute:

Dwight Schrute is one of, if not, the strangest character at the Dunder Mifflin Scranton branch. Dwight is always intense about his work, and he often tries to compete with his co-workers. When he thinks they are slacking, he never misses an opportunity to crack the whip. Throughout all of the seasons so far, Dwight has never really outwardly shown a 'good side'. He is the ultimate suck-up to Michael, and he despises Andy for some unknown reasons (the feeling is mutual). He is the butt of a number of jokes, many from Jim and Pam. In Season 2, Dwight brought in a sign with each letter of his name starting a new word that describes himself, and it is pretty accurate. It went as follows: Determined Worker Intense Good Worker Hard Worker Terrific.

RELATIONSHIPS

In Season 2, Pam unearthed that Angela and Dwight were having a secret relationship. The two tried everything to keep it quiet, but word got around before too long. Despite the many problems, the two continued to date until Season 4, when Dwight "accidentally" killed Angela's cat by stuffing it in the freezer. After Angela started to date Andy, Dwight and Angela began an affair. Then Phyllis found out in the Season 4 finale and later told every employee of the office - except Andy. Finally when Andy found out, the two attempted a duel, but both came to grips with reality and realized that Angela was simply not worth it.

Besides Angela, Dwight has not had much romantic action, if you don't count his major man-crush on Michael. He is not particularly smooth with the ladies.

Character Bio: Jim Halpert

Here is a mini character bio on one of the Dunder Mifflin Scranton branch's best salesmen, Jim Halpert:

Jim is the fun-loving salesman that is best known throughout the office for his classic pranks on Dwight, and his famous Pam/Karen love triangle. Jim never shys from an opportunity to play a

practical joke on Dwight or simply outsmart him. Though Jim often seems a bit cruel, Him is really a good guy, and he truly does care for every employee of the Scranton branch - even Dwight.

RELATIONSHIPS

Ever since the beginning of Season 1, Jim made his attraction to Pam evident, even though she was engaged. Jim dated a girl named Katie for a short time during Season 2, mainly to make Pam a bit jealous.When he confessed his love to her, she originally let him down, but then admitted that she had feelings for him, and the two kissed at the end of Season 2. In Season 3, Jim moved to a different branch, leaving Pam behind. There he met Karen, and began dating her, but the branches began downsizing, and Jim and Karen were moved back to the Scranton branch. Meanwhile, Pam tells Roy about the kiss, and Roy has a bit of a spaz attack and tries to attack Jim. Pam consequently breaks up with him because of this. At the end of the season, Jim breaks up with Karen.

At the start of Season 4, Jim and Pam admit to the office that they are dating. Throughout the season, Jim makes many attempts to propose to Pam, but all are foiled, one way or another. In the first episode of Season 5, however, Jim successfully proposes to Pam, and she accepts.

"Golden Ticket" Season 5; Episode 17

Here is the synopsis for the latest episode of The Office, entitled "Golden Ticket":

Arriving to work one day dressed as Willy Wonka, Michael informs the office that he has placed 5 'golden tickets', that entitle the 

finder to 10% off their paper, in 5 different shipments - or so he thinks. Later in the day, however, Jim receives a call from Dunder 

Mifflin's biggest consumer that they found all 5 golden tickets in just one of their shipments. Michael, fearing for his job and the fate of the office, attempts to convince Dwight to take the fall for him and tell David that it was his idea all along.

Meanwhile, Kevin needs some answers on how to impress the woman he met at the Valentine's Day mixer, but ends up more confused than when he started after Jim, Pam, and Andy all try to lend a helping hand.

My Top 10 favorite characters in order from favorite to least favorite as follows:

Keep in mind this is based only on how funny they are, and that's all. Also, though individually these are the funniest characters in my opinion, what makes the show funny is the interaction between all of them. For example, The Office would not be on air still if there weren't the hilarious pranks on Dwight, courtesy of Jim with some help from Pam.

Character Bio: Michael Scott

Here is a mini character bio about Dunder Mifflin Scranton Regional Manager Michael Scott:

Michael is known among the employees at Dunder Mifflin Scranton as the somewhat perverted, odd, but sometimes kind boss. He is not very well respected (especially when it comes to Stanley Hudson) but on occasion he gets his due. He is often misunderstood as being mean for those who have just met him, but for those who have worked under him for years know that he has a soft heart.

RELATIONSHIPS

In Season 2, Michael hooked up with his boss, Jan Levinson. Though she was reluctant to admit the hook-up at first, the two began secretly dating during Season 3. The relationship does not end well, however, as the two have a break-down during a dinner party.

In Season 5, Michael began to date Holly, the new HR representative after Toby left for Costa Rica. Eventually, however, Holly moves away and their relationship ends, leaving Michael alone and heartbroken - again.

"Blood Drive" Season 5; Episode 16

Here is the synopsis for the latest episode "Blood Drive" that aired on Thursday, March 5, 2009.

Still heartbroken after his breakup with Holly, Michael tells the office that he is going to hold a convention for all of the lonely employees to share and express feelings. What's more, Michael meets a friendly woman while donating blood, and she accidently leaves her glove behind. Michael decides to throw a Valentine's Day mixer in the office in hope of finding the woman again, posting signs for the lost glove. Though he is unsuccessful, Kevin finds an interested single that is just his type.

Meanwhile, Jim, Pam, Phyllis, and her husband Bob Vance go to a restaurant to celebrate Cupid's birthday. But the get-together goes from friendly to odd when Bob and Phyllis disappear. Things get even stranger when Jim and Pam discover where they have been.
